Our History
The organization wasn formed in 1995. Morphing from telecommunications and primordial pc experiences of the lates 80's and early 90's where "network servers and daisy changing desktops" was the a boon and a the bane of small business applications.
, It was the message switching services and networking, with both dedicated and non-dedicated (peer to peer) systems and applications sharing which drove the company. Additionally, years of previous accounting software support extending back to some 1.0 and 2.0 packages, when personal computing was a virtual blackhole from a support standpoint, was also in our vision. As the business applications grew in the early 90's, we saw the growth of the internet and started to invest in another transition into networking and remote supporting actions with clients in the United States and internationally as far as France and as close the island of Bermuda.
Our first sale was a three state, AccPac accounting application that was customized for a courier service. There were two prominent networking organizations and our work involved not only the dedicated server wares like Novell and the up and coming Microsoft but several peer to peer operating systems that gave us the experience to easily manage daisy chained workstations. It was there, the learning process of managing product introduction, development, implementation and deployment took place. What’s more, it was the manufacturers training, which provided us with key information about the products that most IT persons would not be privy. We often reference these resources tools today! We have authenticated direct links to the manufacturers technical support queues for the products that we support. Often, we "survey the land" with a query of the customers support call. Our next step is to perform an assessment. It is this assessment that helps us to discern the clients actual needs from those which are perceived. In the case of a repair, it is the difference between a real fix and a patch. Too many people with a list of credentials about servers and workstations, only patch applications which translates into lost time for the owner and added expense. Although we have existed on a main course of supporting accounting software packages like DacEasy , Peachtree , Quickbooks and Accpac, we support networking legacy operating systems, Small Business Server, Server, Windows 2003, Xp,Vista and Windows 7 and now Apple's Mac OS. What’s more, we have provided barcoding solutions, remote hand held equipment, middleware for accounting solutions and a host of other items that denote our technological growth.
